Ellison Ballet provides dormitory-style housing to all accepted Summer Intensive students, conveniently located on the University of Southern California campus.

McCarthy Honors Residential College

The McCarthy Honors Residential College is the visual center of the new USC Village complex, with a Gothic-style clock tower that spires 145 feet into the air. The distinctive collegiate-style architecture is a nod to the university's traditions, while its modern facilities and residential accommodations are tailor-made for the 21st century student.

Suites are located on the upper floors of the five-story building and each one has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a common area. All of the suites are air-conditioned and feature new, stylish furniture. There are two spacious, landscaped courtyards, one on the ground level and the other on the first residential floor. 

Accepted students can reserve housing upon their enrollment in an Ellison Ballet summer program. Detailed information, including an extensive Housing Handbook, is sent to all students who reserve housing.

Dining

We are also pleased to offer an optional meal plan for students attending the PCI. The plan includes breakfast and dinner daily (12 breakfasts and 13 dinners), served buffet-style at Everyone's Kitchen (EVK), a dining hall located on the USC campus, approximately a five-minute walk from the residence or studio. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available.

EB students can also take their meals at the Shops at USC Village,  located in the same complex as the residence hall which is across the street from the Glorya Kaufman International Dance Center. Restaurants and stores include Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Target, CVS, City Tacos, SunLife Organics, Il Giardino, Ramen Kenjo, and more!

    • High-speed internet and cable connection (may bring television if desired)

    • Weekly housekeeping provided

    • Linen packets provided to each student with pillow, pillowcase, top and bottom sheets, blanket, two bath towels, face cloth

    • Ellison Ballet chaperones live on-site with students.

    • Secure keycard access

    • Common lounge areas

    • Large modern laundry room with app-operated self-service laundry​ machines

    • ​Department of Public Safety officers patrolling campus

  • Ellison Ballet provides chaperones to supervise, live with the students throughout their participation in the Intensive. The chaperones are thoroughly vetted and background-checked with an extensive application process; usually they are parents of participating students.

  • ​Double Room (in 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suites): $1590 per 2-week session
    ​Single Room (in 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suites): $1980 per 2-week session

    ​Meal Plan (optional): $410

    Chaperone Fee (Los Angeles): $250
