Ellison Ballet provides dormitory-style housing to all accepted Summer Intensive students, conveniently located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan at 850 West End Avenue.
850 West End
Centrally located in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, 850 West End is a convenient walk to Columbia University, Central Park, Riverside Park, grocery stores – Westside Market & Whole Foods, Duane Reade, Starbucks, and many other great shops.
850 West End is located just off Broadway and is only a few short blocks from the 103rd Street and 96th Street subway stations! The subway (Local 1 Train and Express 2 & 3 Trains) provides easy access to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center, The Empire State Building, The Metropolitan Opera, SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy, Ground Zero and other NYC major attractions; making it an ideal destination for people who love New York City.
Accepted students can reserve housing upon their enrollment in an Ellison Ballet summer program. Detailed information, including an extensive Housing Handbook, is sent to all students who reserve housing in late Spring.
Note: Meal plans are not provided. The many incredible restaurants and cafes of NYC, plus grocery stores, delis, and shops are easily accessible near both studios and dorms.

Ellison Ballet provides chaperones to supervise, live, and travel with the students throughout their participation in the Intensive. The chaperones are thoroughly vetted and background-checked with an extensive application process; usually they are parents of participating students.
Parents will have the opportunity to select the level of supervision their child will receive during the Intensive and while traveling between studios and residence. This option will be included in the housing forms sent to those students who reserve a space in housing upon enrollment. -

All students using Ellison Ballet housing must pay a one-time Chaperone Fee, determined by the number of weeks they reside in student housing.
